Telephone Preference Service (TPS) as a Service

The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is the UK’s only official “Do Not Call” register for landline and mobile numbers. Registering with the TPS will allow you to cleanse your call lists, so you do not contact members of the public or organisations who have registered their wish not to receive sales or marketing calls. If you are making sales and/or marketing calls, it is a legal requirement for you to screen against the TPS files every 28 days.

A full annual subscription to the TPS data is expensive, so Magrathea can offer TPS screening via your outbound account.

This service is ideal for small communications providers who need to be compliant.

How it works

We will assign you a new account, which you would use specifically for traffic you require TPS cleansed.

Any calls to landline or mobile numbers that are registered with the TPS will be blocked, responding with an appropriate SIP response (403 Forbidden).
