Today Magrathea celebrates our 20th Anniversary! Founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of the already established Magrathea Systems, Magrathea Telecommunications was to become one of the first carrier grade networks in the UK to fully integrate IP technology with traditional PSTN telephony.
Our reputation for innovation, flexibility and reliability has seen us consistently grow year on year whilst retaining our strong culture based on clear ethics and excellent customer service. Our focus on our core services along with upholding our original vision and values has enabled us to retain clients as well as attract new ones through referrals, something we are very proud of.
As business owners we are constantly aware that our success is due to the amazing team we have here, the majority of whom have been with us for many years, and after the challenges everyone has faced over the last 18 months’ we feel more grateful than ever for the dedication and strength of character our team have shown.
We would have liked to be celebrating in a much larger way but given the pandemic situation we didn’t feel it would be appropriate this year, instead we are quietly toasting the occasion – there may even be a few cakes consumed around here – and will be having a team celebration for our 21st next year when we can properly relax and enjoy it!
Meanwhile on behalf of the entire Magrathea team, we wanted to say a big thank you to all of our clients, suppliers, partners and colleagues who have supported us on this journey so far. Telecoms has evolved so much in the last 20 years and there is so much more to come, we are very excited to embrace the changes and challenges which are unfolding for our industry and see Magrathea continue to evolve for many years ahead.
