As our first catch up of 2024 we have a few questions for our lovely Hayley who is as our ‘new business’ development specialist working alongside Linda, as well as working in support.
What are your favourite things about working for Magrathea?
I love to talk, so I really enjoy talking to our clients, understanding their wants and needs and doing what I can to help.
What are the most significant changes in the time you have been here?
I have been with Mag for almost 13 years now (unlucky for some!) and a lot has changed. When I started the team was a lot smaller- we have grown significantly yet we still maintain a great culture and it is a great place to work! We have invested a lot of time and money into our network and so the network is much more resilient.
What do you think will be the biggest challenges for the telecoms industry in 2024?
This is a tough one- I think there will be many if I’m honest. It is such a fast-paced industry and there are always changes in regulation to keep us busy- the biggest challenge in 2024 is probably the implementation of One Touch Switch as well as being another year closer to WLR withdrawal!
And finally, how do you enjoy spending time outside of work?
I have a great work/life balance at Magrathea for which I am grateful as I love spending time with my nieces and nephews and getting out on my Harley when the weather allows!
