For the final month of 2023 we’ve caught up with Linda, our newest member of the team, to see how she’s settling into life at Magrathea.
You’ve only been with us a short time, how are things going so far?
As I draw to the end of my induction training at Magrathea, there are two aspects which stand out. Firstly, what a lovely warm welcome I have received from everyone and secondly how proud and passionate everyone is about working for Magrathea.
What challenges are you looking forward to?
Although I have spent 20+ years around the wider IT market, I’m new to the telecommunications world, so I have a bit of a learning curve ahead of me. However, I know with the experience and huge knowledge the team have at Magrathea, I’m in safe hands.
What do you think you’ll be doing most in the first few months?
Along with lots of learning I’m looking forward to getting to know as many clients as possible, understanding their challenges and plans.
How do you enjoy spending time when not working?
Of course spending time with my family and friends but if I have to be completely honest….messing about with my gorgeous dogs. Both working cocker spaniels, Roy is nearly 12, completely deaf but so loveable, Mo (short for The Monster, and that he is) he’s 3 and crazy! Cracking personality and so stubborn.
Anything else you’d like to share about yourself?
I like to run, maybe I should call it a jog or even a fast walk……it’s a great way to clear your mind as you are too concerned about your breathing and when it’s going to be over. But after your run, you feel great! It’s what life is all about.
