Careers at Magrathea: Vahed Safizadeh – Developer
Vahed joined our development team just before Christmas last year. His first real introduction to everyone here was at our Christmas party, a brave move. It didn’t put him off though and now Vahed is a valued part of our team of developers who work on improving and developing our in-house and customer-facing products.
We caught up with Vahed recently to see how he’s finding working at Magrathea. We firstly wanted to know what he enjoys most about his job.. To which he replied… “I enjoy designing and developing solutions and simplifying user interaction to our web applications It is a new environment for me and every day I am learning something new and progressing onto another level.” When we asked Vahed what he least enjoys, Vahed told us “Reading documentation is the least enjoyable part of my work.” We hear you Vahed, there’s a lot of that in telecoms.
We wondered what has already changed for him in his brief time at Magrathea so far. “Since working here, I have better interaction with my software engineering team.” which we think is a great start to his new career with us as we’re all about team work and finding ways to constantly improve internal and external communication.
Vahed’s hobbies outside of work are varied, but he told us he really enjoys sports and likes to train hard regularly. We have certainly noticed he has more will power around the office snacks than some of us!
