This month we caught up with Kelly – who is a Porting Administrator, part of our busy porting team, and is responsible for processing pre-orders validation requests.
We caught up with her to find out more about what she does day to day – and to get to know a bit more about the person behind the role.
Kelly – tell us a bit about what you do at Magrathea?
I work within the Porting team, processing port orders and requests and helping clients with any questions or queries.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The variation of different porting requests that we receive from our network customers and clients, no two days are the same and I enjoy that.
What advice would you give someone starting out in the telecoms industry?
Prepare for the work-load in porting! Everyone is very helpful though so you would hit the ground running very quickly.
Do you have a favourite quote or saying?!
Anyone want a cup of tea? We are definitely fueled by tea here at Magrathea!
And finally, how do you enjoy spending time outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family, keeping fit when I can, Camping/Holidays and anything to do with relaxing as I run a busy lifestyle 😊
