This month we caught up with Linda – who is a Business Development Manager here at Magrathea. She is responsible for looking after our clients to ensure they are aware of all our services and offerings.
We wanted to know a bit more about what she does and find out a little bit more about her.
Linda – we last caught up with you in 2023, not long after you joined Magrathea. Tell us a bit about your role, and what does a typical day look like for you?
There are many great things about being a Business Development Manager at Magrathea, but the one thing that stands out is meeting and talking to our clients, hearing about their business needs, and how we can partner with them to help them achieve their objectives. No two days are alike – one day I can be discussing bespoke projects and the next promoting our regular porting workshops!
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Working with the team at Magrathea. I have brilliant people working alongside me – and we have a ‘can do’ culture where everyone gets involved whether it is to solve a problem or brainstorm what is next.
What’s your favourite thing about the team or company culture?
Over the past almost 2 years I have learnt so much about the industry and our clients from our team – who have so much expertise and experience between them. They embody our value of being ‘brilliant’! I think that If you are going to do something, you might as well do it “brilliantly” and I believe that together we do!
And finally, how do you enjoy spending time outside of work?
I am Chair at our Pavilion Cricket Sport Club in my village, I love village life. I’ve also just purchased a very old cottage which needs renovating, so I’m looking forward to moving in and rolling my sleeves up!
