Right from our beginnings we’ve kept the focus of our business on delivering true wholesale and platform-agnostic core network services that communication providers could access easily and for good value. Our intent to reduce barriers to entry in the comms market whilst encouraging and supporting innovation, continues to be our passion for being in this industry.
This commitment to our core network means much of our time, investment and effort goes into developing our in- house expertise, maintaining, and where appropriate improving and innovating the essential functions that keep all of our clients calls flowing. Whilst, at least from the outside, it may not seem that we are launching “new” features – as anyone on our team will tell you – behind the scenes there is always constant development to meet the evolving needs of our clients who rely on our network. This is just business as usual for us; simply a means to meet the expectations of our clients who rely on our network.
Often, it’s the smaller, targeted improvements – based on direct client feedback – that have the biggest impact. We pride ourselves on focussing on what our clients actually need; often we are putting together small but significant changes that can entirely transform how a client – or group of clients – deliver their services. Recently, we have done just this.
Introducing MagSIPConnect
Our latest addition – MagSIPConnect – isn’t a flashy innovation, but it is a practical, solid feature that some clients have already found gives them greater flexibility in how they build their own solutions.
MagSIPConnect opens up “bring your own carrier” possibilities meaning our clients can benefit from our robust call termination services from a wider range of platforms and systems.
Targeted at users of hosted services that can’t validate an account with a unique IP address or username/password, MagSIPConnect offers two-stage validation based on the provider IP ranges plus a unique SIP header. Suitable for use directly by our clients as an alternative means of authentication, or for their customers by the use of a unique SIP header for each customer.
Some might call it SIP Trunking, but since that term means something different to different people, we are calling it MagSIPConnect.
